If it’s been a while since we’ve updated here, it’s because the entire team has been completely occupied planning for Assessment Trip #2, which is less than a month away now. Seven team members will be traveling to Mbokop at the end of November for two weeks conducting quantitative health surveys and topographic surveys.
For the latter, EWB-DC team members were trained this past weekend by members from the EWB Chesapeake Professional Chapter in how to properly perform accurate topographic surveys. The two EWB teams gathered at Brookside Nature Center in Silver Spring, MD to learn and practice surveying on a walking trail. Check out some photos from the event below!
