Earlier this week, four members of the EWB-DC Cameroon Project Team returned from two weeks on the project site in rural Mbokop, Cameroon. This is the fifth trip the project has taken to the community. This trip included:
Implementation activities for the current water system being installed,
Assessment activities for a second water system to begin in another settlement,
Build a Tippy Tap: The team had a great time building “tippy taps” (simple, economical hand washing stations) with the community over the weekend. I borrowed this diagram from TippyTap.org, which has a lot of great resources for hand washing, including practical instructions for building your own tippy tap at home (or maybe on your next camping trip).
